Jotzen
Opening Jotzen…
Your notes open in this tab and stay encrypted everywhere else. Unless you choose to stay signed in, reloading or closing the tab signs you out. Create an account in the Jotzen desktop app.
About this computer
A browser extension allowed on every site can read this page, what you type and your open notes. Jotzen cannot detect or stop that. Use a browser profile without extensions, or the desktop app.
On a public or shared computer Jotzen stores nothing and signs you out after 15 minutes without use.
Keeping you signed in stores your account keys and sign-in in this browser, encrypted under a key the browser will not hand to a script. It is about as strong as staying signed in to webmail, and weaker than the desktop app: anyone using this browser, malware on this computer, or a copy of the whole browser profile can open your notes. Your notes themselves are not stored. Signing out deletes all of it.
